3. From where do Olde Towne Carriage rides depart?
The carriage ride leaves from 20 Anson Street, on the corner of Pinckney and Anson streets, located between East Bay and Meeting streets (one block north of the world famous open air market) in Historic Charleston.

4. How long is the wait for the carriage tour?
The wait varies in the day but if your tour is pre-booked then your wait will just be the 15 minutes early we ask you to arrive. Just the right amount of time to visit with the horses in the barn.top
5. What exact areas do you visit?
You will see the historic old market area where commerce has taken place for over 250 years, historical houses maintained in timeless fashion, beautiful gardens, artistic wrought iron gates and decorative entrances to the many mansions as the tour winds through the 25 - 30 block area.
In addition, you will see parts of the old walled city and several of the many churches that give Charleston its nickname of the “Holy City”. Your tour guide will acquaint you with the history and architecture which make Charleston one of the truly grand jewels of the South. Most importantly you will gain a better understanding of the people that lived and traversed over the past three hundred years, on the very streets you are traveling.

6. Are we alone on the carriage ride?
No, the carriage can hold up to 16 guests, so you will be sharing the carriage with the other tour participants. You can, however, book a private tour for your group.

Yes, the carriage tour is fully narrated by a professional tour guide.
